The sealed drive is about 450 km and takes around 5 hours without long stops: south on the Stuart Highway, then west along the Lasseter Highway at Erldunda. Highlights en route include the Mount Conner lookout. See Alice Springs to Uluru.
Option 3: Coach transfer or tour from Alice Springs
Scheduled coach transfers and multi-day tours connect Alice Springs with Yulara, often via Kings Canyon. A long same-day return tour is also possible.
